Please visit Class Discussion on the ShowProject Messageboard
to answer assignment questions.
  • Assignment #1:
    • Review Lesson One material.
    • Read as many of the online information pages on Lesson Two's Reading List as possible.
    • Don't forget to take notes!
    • Printing the pages will be helpful.
  • Assignment #2:
    • Choose a plant/s and begin 'Growing to Show'.
    • Set up your schedule in a notebook or on a calendar.  Begin disbudding, and other culture, as dictated by the schedule.
    • It will be interesting, but not necessary, to photograph your plant for a 'Before' photo.
    • *** You may want to experiment with AV blossom arrangements, using the blossom stalks removed during disbudding!  We will be covering Design in Lesson Three, but you may find this  a good time to get in some practice. Take a look at the following photo albums and have some fun!
  • Assignment #3:
    • Please answer these questions on the ShowClassLessonTwo discussion on the ShowProject Messageboard:
    • 1)  Which variety/varieties/no-names are you beginning to 'Grow to Show'?
    • 2)  Why did you choose these plants?
    • 3)  Will you need to change some part of your 'normal' AV care?
    • 4)  Do you have any questions about a particular aspect of 'Growing to Show'?
  • Note on printing these pages or any web page:
